Type a word or expression in the search box and click "Start Search"   If you find a link that does not work and you are using Firefox as your browser, you may wish to try Internet Explorer.  Some slide show links will only work this way.

Alternately, you can use Google to search this site.  Google provides a synopsis of text containing the link.  These two searches will not always return the same results.  For example, the Microsoft search (above) will find text inside family tree notes but not in pdf files; the Google search will return pdf links but not notes from the family tree.  If you want to try an example of this, search on Bengal Bomber.

Also, if the site has undergone any substantial changes recently, Google likely has not picked these up and will return some broken links.
