We attended the wedding of Kay and Don Heise's oldest son, Doug (to
Erica). The wedding was held in Charlevoix, Michigan. On our way
back to Oregon in early August we visited John and Kitzen in Utah.
They took us to a wonderful garden there and found a really tame moose where
I took this shot.
We took a Vantage tour of Ukraine, Russia, Estonia, and Finland in
late August, early September. This shows our route of travel.
What made it unique was a 7 day cruise on Russian waterways (shown in
blue), principally
the Volga. We have a ProShow of this trip:

This is the standard "we've been to Moscow" shot. This is St. Basil's in Red Square. As you can see from the blue sky, we had good weather. Unfortunately, Red Square itself was still largely filled with folding chairs as Moscow had just celebrated its 860th birthday.
